You only need to micro heroes to snare large mobs(you don't want them to run out of your AoE) and chain RoJ/Balth aura. Since everything(in HM) hits really hard and fast, throw up balth spirit on and even a warrior/para will have enough energy to SB/PS. If you are up against bosses in HM, the best way to take that boss is to have a reliable tank. Kelvin Greyheart 15:18, 14 January 2009 (UTC) For rotscale I am assuming that only the player takes hits, and you rely on RoD to hurt for the most part, save for having the heroes run forward to use RoJ. Might be difficult for wars and paras, but balth spirit works as well. I later realized you wanted the player to bring prot skills. Smite heroes are also react fast to damage with RoD, so it isn't a problem with 3 digit damage. Just have your smiters drop some of their hex removals for condition removals(daze removal). Even if you aren't, bring a staff, have one smiter bring balth spirit and you are ready to go. It's not hard to run a caster class with points specced into prot for prot spirit, spirit bond, soa and tank. Would you mind clarifying what you are talking about with the builds you posted on the Majesty's Rest talk page? I have no wish to offend, but I honestly cannot see what makes smiters without protection viable against something that can hit quite easily for triple digits.
